Chateau Favray Pouilly Fumé

Château Favray is a 15-hectare estate that has been run by Quentin David since 1980. The estate is Terra Vitis certified ("sustainability certified"). As is customary in Pouilly Fumé, the grape is Sauvignon Blanc. The soil is rich in limestone, and the wines rest on their lees for between three and eight months, sometimes even longer. The estate's history dates back at least to the 1600s. Footnote: Château Favray is also known for its fine horse breeding (show jumpers).
