Domaine Comte Peraldi

Domaine Comte Peraldi
Domaine Comte Peraldi sits on the heights of the Ajaccio appellation, where magnificent rosés, white, and red wines are produced across some fifty hectares. The vineyard was founded in the early 1800s and restored in 1965 when it was taken over by the de Poix family, with the aim of producing high-quality wines from the local vines growing in granitic soil. The name Domaine Peraldi was given in memory of Count Peraldi, a devoted defender of the Corsican heritage. Peraldi wines are made from indigenous Corsican grape varieties such as Sciaccarello, Vermentino, and Nielluccio, which grow alongside Cinsault and Carignan.
