Domaine d'Orfeuilles

Domaine d'Orfeuilles
Domaine d'Orfeuilles was founded in 1947 by Paul Hérivault, and today the producer's holdings cover nearly 20 hectares in the Loire, more precisely in Chançay and Reugny. These are cultivated by Bernard Hérivault and his son Arnaud, who work hard to maintain the family's traditions in winemaking. The focus is on Chenin Blanc, which here grows in clayey limestone-rich soil with a high density of flint stones, which is reflected in the wines. The sparkling wines are made using the traditional method, and the still wines can be dry, off-dry, or sweet depending on the vintage's climate.
