Character
Beautifully developed, classic Rioja with sun-ripened dark red berries, dill and a gentle vanilla touch from the oak.
Food pairing
Enjoy with a hearty autumn stew or garlic-studded roast lamb with potato gratin.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested from vineyards in Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa. At the winery, the grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Fermentation lasts 9 days, after which the must macerates with the skins for an additional 5 days. The wine then rests for 18 months in American oak barrels.
