Domaine Thunevin

Thunevin stands for both the cult producer Jean-Luc Thunevin, the man behind one of the most hyped garage wines, Château Valandraud, and the négociant Thunevin in Saint-Émilion. For us in Sweden, it is perhaps primarily the latter that is of interest. The majority of fine Bordeaux wines are sold through "les négoces," wine merchants. They buy en primeur and in other ways from the producers and sell on to the world. Through Thunevin, we have been able to supply the Swedish market with wines such as Château Ausone, Château Pichon-Longueville Baron, and Domaine de Chevalier, but also, of course, the wines from Jean-Luc Thunevin. Not least, the second and third wines from Château Valandraud have had great success here (Virginie de Valandraud and 3 de Valandraud).
