Motzenbäcker Riesling Auslese "Flug des Falken"
Motzenbäcker Riesling Auslese "Flug des Falken"
A fresh and very elegant Auslese that pairs well with lighter berry desserts or simply as a dessert in itself. The grapes come from Menger-Krug's estate Motzenbäcker in Pfalz.

Food pairing
Cheeses or not overly sweet desserts with, for example, berries. Also very good as a dessert on its own.
Vinification
The grapes are hand-harvested from old vines in the Ruppertsberger Nußbien vineyard in Pfalz. Menger-Krug's entire philosophy is to communicate terroir and the grape's character in the wine without leaving anything to chance. The grapes ferment in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and rest briefly after completed fermentation before the wine is bottled.
