Sant'Armettu

Sant'Armettu
Sant'Armettu, founded more than sixty years ago by Lucien Seroin and his son Paul, flourishes on southern Corsica, between the sea and the mountains. This land and its enchanting beauty takes its name from the story of the hermit with a burning passion for plants with the gift of healing. The story of the Saint Hermit inspired Gilles Seroin, who is the fifth generation of winegrowers. When he succeeded his father Paul, he knew how to develop his heritage by harnessing all the potential of this magnificent vineyard. Thanks to this, Sant'Armettu offers a rich breadth of wines with exciting aromas and varying structures. Today, the estate has 40 hectares of vines. Thanks to great expertise, combined with perseverance and patience, it is possible for Gilles and his children to work with indigenous grape varieties such as Rimenese, Genovese, Biancu Ghjentile, Minustellu, and Aleaticu. These grape varieties are very well suited to Corsica's unique terroir and have their own distinctive flavour profiles. Gilles Seroin strives every day to pass on the language of the vineyard to his children, Guillaume and Jeanne, so they can perpetuate the tradition.
