Character
Full, concentrated and fruity with toasted oak character, notes of blackcurrants, blackberries, cocoa, dark cherries, herbs and vanilla.

Vinification
The grapes were hand-harvested from the Bel' Villa, Hedges, Magdalena, Obelisco, Les Gosses and Rockwell Brown vineyards on Red Mountain between 8 September and 15 October. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks and the wine rested for 14 months in oak barrels (French, American and Hungarian) before bottling.
