Character
The cooler evenings during the long 2022 season worked with the granite soils to develop taut green notes of citrus blossom. This wine is driven by minerality and the tension and vivacity that all Single Terroir Chenin Blancs from Mullineux share. The stony granite soils contribute to a slow, fine evolution as the wine ages; if drinking now, decanting is recommended.

Vinification
The grapes are sourced from a 43-year-old vineyard site with granite soil where bush vines are cultivated — low-growing vines trained in small bush form. Hand-harvested in the cool early morning hours and pressed as whole clusters. A minimal amount of sulphur is added and, in line with the producer's philosophy, no further additions or interventions occur. The wine was left on the lees for 11 months in 225-litre old French oak barrels, then bottled unfiltered.
